Witzigkeit kennt seine Grenzen
How can class be shown on stage and by whom? In this Artist Lab in cooperation with Künstler*innenhaus Mousonturm, born class clowns and other jokers of the performative arts come together. We have designed a digital publication and social media formats for this.
In various formats, the participating artists explore the relationship between the experience of classism and aesthetic practice. They share artistic strategies with each other and reflect on their own visual experiences of classist and stereotypical representations of, for example, the working class in productions of the permanent and independent theater scene.
The design is inspired by poetry albums with stickers/glossy pictures. The curved lettering and flower stickers create the necessary kitsch. The digital publication is optimized for readability on cell phones.
