Scores for Daily Living

“Scores for Daily Living” presents works by Berlin-based dancer and artist Emma Waltraud Howes. This is the third publication we have developed for Emma Howes.

Through a series of poetic explorations focusing on self-empowerment, work, rituals and the relationship to our civilization, Howes explores how notation and scores can provide orientation. She sees the publication as a “toolbox” for surviving in a complex world.

Like its predecessor “Ankyloglossia” (2014), we conceived and designed the book in close cooperation with Emma Howes. With texts by Emma Wolf-Haugh, Anna Karpenko and Maria Veie Sandvik.
