Revolutionary Romances – Prolog
The research and exhibition project Revolutionary Romances, prelude to the project Kontrapunkte, examines the cultural relations of the GDR to the countries of the Global South in Asia, Africa and Latin America on the basis of the collection holdings of the Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden.
In addition to the logo for Kontrapunkte, we developed the communication and exhibition media for the prologue exhibition at the Albertinum. Graphic elements from protest and solidarity posters were brought together in a new way as a key visual.
The prologue exhibition forms the starting point for the research and exhibition project, with a further major exhibition opening in the Albertinum in fall 2023.
