Japanisches Palais

The Japanische Palais occupies a special position as an experimental space within the overall network of the Dresden State Art Collections: The exhibitions and accompanying dialog forums are dedicated to reflecting on contemporary issues such as climate change, new technologies or the diverse society. These are discussed in experimental formats together with visitors.

The identity of the Japanisches Palais was created as a supplement to the corporate design of the entire museum network to reflect the special character of the building. The identity is based on the striking Japanisches Palais lettering, which is positioned in a clear relationship to the SKD logo. The identity is based on a strong color scheme that does tribute to the diversity of the program.
