Berlin Carousel
The Academy as Living Artistic Practice
The project by Arnold Dreyblatt and the Academy of Arts, in collaboration with raumlaborberlin, includes workshops, concerts, performances, talks, readings, and open studios. We designed all the promotional materials for the exhibition.

With Berlin Carusel, Arnold Dreyblatt draws on John Cage’s Theater Event No. 1 (1952), in which artists performed simultaneous actions among the audience within a set time frame. For the duration of the event, the Akadamie der Künste transforms into a “working academy,” where more than 50 Academy members and artists from various disciplines combine research, discussion, performance, and interaction.
