The website focuses on individual micro-histories and the city as a microcosm of refuge and new beginnings. It makes eyewitness accounts accessible and thus takes a differentiated look at the subject of refugeedom.

The design of the site is clear and accessible, yet activating. The various materials, films, quotes and texts are clearly integrated without neglecting the complexity of the narrative.
