Galerie im Turm

The Galerie im Turm has been located on the first floor of the North Tower at Frankfurter Tor for 50 years. In 2015, we designed a flexible identity that the curators and artists used themselves.

The Berlin-based gallery largely exhibits artistic works that focus on their spatial surroundings. Its visual identity features the gallery’s name appearing as building blocks to build the tower typographically, thus incorporating both the gallery’s location and artistic approach. The typographical system used is flexible and easy to use for different media, while still being very recognizable.
