The Book of Happiness and Sadness
The publication shows the typographic painting of the Russian-Dutch artist Irina Birger. We designed it in close collaboration with the artist.
The book deals with personal, but also (world) political concerns and brings them to paper with calligraphic precision. Her pictures are slightly enlarged in the publication to further enhance their impact and placativity.
